There are some people who can make an impact on you effortlessly with their unbeatable spark. One such person is Siddharth Suryanarayan, whose presence whether on-screen or off-screen is something you can rave about. We caught up with Siddharth in an exclusive chat during the launch of Wink Salon.

Siddharth came to support his friend Samantha Jagan’s venture. He said that he is really happy to be supporting his friend and mentioned that it is not an easy achievement as it is a competitive business which relies on the quality of the service and the way you make a customer feel even before you start working on them. He was all smiles that his friend Samantha‘s dream of having an international one-stop style salon has come true.

Siddharth is joining hands with Director Sasikumar. His other projects include Saithaan Ka Bachha (Tamil) and Kammara Sambhavam (Malayalam). “The house next door” is a trilingual that he is producing next.

Looks like, we are going to see a lot of Siddharth in 2017 and that is good news to his fans. He is someone who has always believed that the content or the script is the king of a movie. The diverse work done by him include films like Boys, Kaaviya Thalaivan, Ayutha Ezhithu, Jigarthanda and Enakul Oruvan His works are a  proof that he takes up a project only when he is genuinely interested.

We know how much he loves Chennai from the work he has done in the past when the city went through a major blow in 2015. We couldn’t resist asking him whether he thinks Chennai is monsoon-ready this time and he said that we can only wait and see.

‘’The problem with people like me and my generation is we like to keep on talking about stuff and nothing actually comes out of it. I’d rather use my bandwidth as a celebrity to shine light on something I believe in or I am against and then see what happens. The tweets are extremely detailed and self-explanatory and I think I only call for an action by an individual. Everybody including me has to stop doing this nonsense. When a woman says no, it means no’’, said the  actor. This was his response to our request on asking him to comment about his tweets on stalking which made headlines about 2 months back.

Siddharth said he was embarrassed when he was offered to do an advertisement for a fairness cream ten years back and he also told the advertising agency that he felt offended about the offer. The actor said even if the government orders him to do it; he will definitely not endorse fairness. Siddharth said he has his own ideas, has rules for himself and will not do anything that goes against his belief system.

We also wanted to know what he does when he is not shooting. He said he is encouraging very young talented technicians like Samantha Jagan  and signs off with a smile. We have got to see many sides of his personality, but with this interview, his daring side has been revealed and we can see a charming angry young man who thinks differently.
